Another exciting research achievement from our lab has been published in Cytotherapy: “Advancing immunomodulatory functions in mesenchymal stem/stromal cells through targeting the GATA6-mediated pathway.”
This study explores how the aging-associated transcription factor GATA6 influences the immunomodulatory functions of MSCs and demonstrates how inhibiting GATA6 rejuvenates MSC characteristics. By targeting the GATA6/SOCS3/PDL1 pathway, we identified promising strategies to enhance MSC-based therapies for regenerative medicine applications. These findings provide valuable insights for improving the clinical utility of MSCs
